The Director General NCMM, Olugbile Holloway had the honour of hosting one of the financial sector’s most esteemed figures, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, CFR to the National Museum Lagos. Known for his remarkable contributions as an investor, banker, and philanthropist, Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede’s visit was a significant event for the NCMM. 

During his visit, Mr Holloway had the opportunity of guiding Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede through the museum, where they explored the rich history and cultural heritage that the museum preserves. As they walked through the galleries, they engaged in meaningful discussions about the future of museums in Nigeria. They talked about the vital role that museums play in preserving culture and history and how to infuse new energy into the Lagos Museum and the broader museum ecosystem across the country. 

A key part of the discussion focused on the importance of financial resources in making these transformative ideas a reality. Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede shared his insights on leveraging finance to support cultural institutions and bring innovative projects to life. His expertise in the financial sector and his passion for philanthropy provided valuable perspectives on how we can collaborate to enhance the cultural landscape of Nigeria.
